The Family Co. have a current role available for a part time (3 days /24 hours per week) position for a Partnerships & Business Development Manager role,  based at their Jannali Office. This role is initially offered as a contract until 30 June 2022.

The Family Co. is a not-for-profit organisation which aims to support and strengthen the capacity of families within our community by providing programs and services designed to contribute to the promotion and maintenance of safety and well-being amongst all family members. 
 

The Position

The Partnerships and Business Development Manager position is a pivotal member of The Family Co, responsible for prospecting and securing new partnerships as well as account managing existing partners, overseeing fundraising opportunities, and supporting the team with consistent messaging and branding.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the Project Manager, Operations Manager and Chief Executive Officer to develop a clear business development strategy that supports organisational growth
  • Ongoing partnership management with individuals, partners, companies, trusts, foundations and fundraisers for ongoing positive relationships and support
  • Identify new sales opportunities within the business development strategy now and for the future
  • Develop and present partnership proposals to a variety of stakeholders
  • Develop a financial growth strategy focused both on financial support and customer satisfaction
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities in collaboration with the marketing manager and program managers
  • Keep informed of current relevant industry issues, current research and literature findings
  • Support management in the leadership and ongoing development of the service
  • Participate in the ongoing service evaluation processes
  • Contribute to the Business and Operational Plans of The Family Co.
  • Support the strategic growth of The Family Co.
  • Develop stakeholder communications such as EDMs, social media content and newsletters in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Develop stakeholder reports to assist in communicating program accountability and impact to funders
    Coordinate 2x charity fundraising events per year
  • Work with the program managers to enhance program collateral e.g. flyers, social media or website content as requested by the Operations Manager
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager regarding the development of event material e.g. social media, comms, signage etc

 

Selection Criteria: 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience, such as; business, marketing, sales or relevant field  
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Partnership or business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role with evidence of sales success and ability to work to specific KPI targets 
  • Proven ability to drive revenue generation through stakeholder engagement and business development 
  • High level administration, time management and communication skills with experience and proficiency in word, excel, client data bases and capacity to communicate ideas clearly and concisely
  • Experience working with an executive and senior management team 
  • Proven ability to identify, develop and convert business opportunities
  • Demonstrated success to build strong relationships and influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders
  • Current Working with Children’s Check, National Police Check and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination (for potential interstate travel)  
  • Current NSW drivers’ licence 

Desirable:

  • NFP Partnership engagement experience 
  • Previous experience with Canva, Adobe, email marketing software such as Campaign Monitor and Previous events experience
