Generously funded by the Big Sister Foundation, The Family Co.'s Building Resilience in Children project are now offering in-school programs for both teachers, parents and students, with the aim to strengthen the understanding of the impact of trauma on children, to support parents and staff to respond to children’s trauma symptoms, and to offer groups to children to develop skills to regulate their emotions.

The Building Resilience in Children (BRIC) team will work with interested schools to identify community needs, and customise our core program offerings to ensure that the benefits to the school community are impactful and real. se here is no cost to the school or parents for these programs, as costs are covered through the generous donation from Big Sister Foundation.

We encourage school principals or administrators to contact our BRIC Team Co-ordinator, Melissa Philbrook, to discuss school community needs, interest in specific programs offered and availability to deliver the programs within the school calendar. Our office number is (02) 9528 2933.
