Domestic Violence Caseworker

Domestic Violence Caseworker

A domestic violence caseworker understands the intricacies of domestic and family violence and is well equipped to provide additional support to any woman who is impacted by domestic violence. They work 1 on 1 with women who have been impacted by domestic violence to provide short term crisis support, can assist with safety planning, access to safe housing, Centrelink and Victims Services supports amongst other needs. Staying Home Leaving Violence

Staying Home Leaving Violence is a specialised domestic and family violence program covering the Sutherland Shire to assist women and their children who have separated from a violence partners or family member. The program aims to improve outcomes for women and children by supporting them stay in their own home safely where possible, or relocate to safe accommodation and live free from violence. Read more

These monthly information sessions are facilitated in partnership with local Police Prosecutors and Domestic Violence Liaison Officers to provide victim-survivors with clear guidance on what to expect in court.     Help is easy to access. You can be referred by a health professional or another agency, or self-refer. Just call us on (02) 9528 2933 and tell us what you need help with.

    Kids Helpline is Australia’s only free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. The service can be accessed by calling 1800 55 1800 or their website https://kidshelpline.com.au
