Today, the NSW Government increased the COVID-19 restrictions in response to the growing concerns for the COVID-19 outbreak. Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong will enter a lockdown from 6:00pm today until 11.59pm on Friday July 9.

Under the new restrictions, people in Greater Sydney, the Blue Mountains, Central Coast and Wollongong can only leave home for the following four reasons:

  • Shopping for food or other essential goods and services
  • Medical care or compassionate needs (including to get a COVID-19 vaccine)
  • Exercise outdoors in groups of 10 or fewer
  • Essential work, or education, where you cannot work or study from home

The Family Co. is considered an essential service and we are here to support the community during this difficult time. We are still here and during this period, our staff are still available to offer phone support where needed, and many of our programs will continue to be delivered via remote methods. We have successfully operated under these conditions before, and we know what we need to do to ensure our clients and the community receive services they need in a safe manner.

If you or anyone in your family are struggling with lockdown impacts on family, are experiencing domestic violence, or need support, please call us Monday to Friday during business hours on (02) 9528 2933, or via email at [email protected]
