Belinda Fairfax - Chairperson

Belinda Fairfax joined the Board in October 2019. Belinda holds a BA in Psychology and Economics, and Level 2 Coaching Certification from the Institute of Executive Coaching Australia. As a HR Specialist and Business Coach, she brings to the Board a range of people and culture skills including leadership, strategy, performance and stakeholder management, business partnership, coaching, facilitation, and collaboration skills. Rhett Kentwell - Secretary

Rhett Kentwell joined The Family Co. Board in April 2022 and took over the role of Secretary in October 2023. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce and a Bachelor of Nursing. As a former CEO and experienced executive manager, Rhett has specific interest in business strategy with financial sustainability and stakeholder engagement. Read more

Belinda Kendrigan - Treasurer

Belinda joined the Board in 2022 and became Treasurer in 2023. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in business and obtained her chartered accountant qualifications in 2001. Belinda's career spans over two decades including 11 years at KPMG and a further 11 years in finance executive roles. She brings to the Board her skills in financial strategy, sustainable growth and risk management. Read more

Stephanie Famolaro - Board Member

Stephanie Famolaro joined The Family Co. board in 2023. Stephanie has over 15 years of experience in the marketing industry and is a leading voice in advertising, regularly speaking on topics ranging from data and technology to the future of digital advertising. Stephanie holds an Executive Master of Business Administration degree from the Sydney Business School and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Read more

Andrea Brown - Board Member

Andrea Brown joined The Family Co Board in 2023. Andrea holds a degree in Business Management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Working in Banking and Financial Services, over the last 25 years, she is experienced in developing and operationalising Strategy, embedding Transformation, Wealth Management and Regulatory Change Programs. How to Refer

Help is easy to access. You can be referred by a health professional or another agency, or self-refer. Just call us on (02) 9528 2933 and tell us what you need help with.
Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to help us! We're a lean and specialised team, and while we don't allow volunteers in client facing capacities, we are very grateful to have volunteers who can assist with admin, marketing and events. If you're interested, we'd love to hear from you!

Family Workers provide assistance to families who, for a variety of reasons, would benefit from additional support.
Youth Programs & Services

The Family Co. Youth Services offer information, support and programs for young people, schools and families. Our experienced staff aim to support young people to strengthen and foster relationships and develop resilience and life skills. We offer a range of programs and services that help young people become self-aware, understand and explore their potential, and be present and connected in their community.
Kid's Helpline

Southern Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service

The Southern Sydney Women's Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (SSWDVCAS) provides information, advocacy and referrals for women and families attending Sutherland and Kogarah Local Courts for Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders.
Play and Connect

Play and Connect is a free playgroup for families with children aged 0-5, and operates every Thursday morning during school terms at The Family Co centre in Jannali. This supportive group provides opportunity for families to connect with their child through fun, interactive activities, sensory play and art.
