Toolbox Talks

Harnessing the Positive Influence of the Community focuses on the prevention of violence against women and children from a community perspective and is suitable for mixed gender audiences. This program explored the different types and examples of abuse, common indicators someone is using or experiencing violence, bystander responses and explores the social factors that support disrespect and violence towards women and girls. While the importance of male voices in prevention and response is acknowledged, this program focusses on the things each of us can do every day to make a positive difference in our culture now and over time as well as provide safety for people at work, in the community and in homes now.

Toolbox Talks programs are available online or face to face, are 40 minutes long, subsidised by NSW Government (when delivered in NSW) and available on a fee for service basis across Australia.
